Experience and Biography

Ms. Pardo is a bicultural/bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Master of Social Work who has been working in the professional field for 30 years. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University in May of 1993 and has held numerous positions with various mental health agencies throughout this time. Ms. Pardo specializes in providing clinical services in a safe, therapeutic, and holistic setting to individuals, families and groups who are struggling with different social, emotional and interpersonal needs. She has continued her professional development with numerous certifications on a consistent basis over the years. Ms. Pardo has also worked extensively with children and adolescents in school settings as well as being affiliated with medical centers in the Brooklyn-Queens area.

Ms. Pardo held a position as Program Director for the Child Center of New York’s Infant-Parent Program for which she received the 1999 John F. Kennedy Hero’s Award. As a mental health practitioner with the Center, she focused on helping adults, children, adolescents and couples cope with their emotional struggles and mental health needs. Ms. Pardo also worked for 15 years as a bilingual Senior Social Worker within the Board of Education’s Early Intervention Program in organizations such as YAI, Young Adult Institute and Steppingstone Special Needs School specializing in work with individuals of all ages with cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs. She currently practices at Latino Support in efforts to provide quality and all-inclusive mental health services and clinical expertise to our growing, multic-ethnic and diverse population.

Ms. Pardo remains dedicated in her pursuit of providing experienced, quality clinical services to all the individuals and families she is honored to work with. She hopes to continue to offer much needed services towards promoting healthier and more enriching interpersonal and emotional experiences to all whom she serves.
